Job summary
The Rota Support & Compliance Administrator supports the Lead Rota Administrator with recruitment administration, pre-employment compliance, staff onboarding and workforce record management. The role ensures that clinical and non-clinical staff are appropriately vetted, trained, credentialed and ready to work before commencing duties.
This is a remote role; however, you may occasionally be required to attend the workplace in person, and you will be given notice where this is needed. You must also be able to work in and around North East London (NEL) when required.
This is a part-time role of 20 hours per week. Working days will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.

Main duties of the job
- Coordinate recruitment administration, including applicant contact, interviews and start dates.
- Complete pre-employment checks, including Right to Work, ID, references, DBS and professional credentials.
- Support new starters through onboarding, induction and internal system set-up.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff compliance records and the Staff Compliance Matrix.
- Monitor mandatory training, health clearance and renewal requirements.
- Maintain confidential, GDPR-compliant personnel records and support audit readiness.
- Provide administrative support and rota cross-cover when required.

About the Role
We are recruiting a skilled and motivated Band 6 ADHD/Autism Waiting Well Practitioner to join our Neurodevelopmental Service on a 12 month fixed term basis working 22.5 hours per week.
This role focuses on providing high-quality telephone-based support, triage, and clinical oversight for children and young people awaiting ADHD/Autism assessment.
You will play a central role in ensuring safe waiting list management, early identification of risk, and timely support for families. You will also supervise and guide Band 4 Associate Practitioners who deliver routine Waiting Well check-ins and engagement calls.
This post is ideal for a practitioner with strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving the experience of families waiting for neurodevelopmental assessment.
Core Professional Requirement
Applicants must hold a recognised core professional qualification and current registration with one of the following:
- NMC (Registered Nurse - Mental Health, Learning Disability, or Child Branch)
- HCPC (e.g., Occupational Therapist, Practitioner Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist
- Social Work England eg Social Worker
Applicants without a core profession cannot be considered for this Band 6 post.
Main duties of the job
What You Will Be Doing
Leading clinical triage of neurodevelopmental referrals, applying risk tools and determining RAG ratings.Providing telephone-based support, psychoeducation, and advice to parents and carers.Delivering supported parent/carer clinics.Offering guidance on reasonable adjustments, strategies, and available support while families await assessment.Providing clinical supervision and oversight to Band 4 Associate Practitioners.Supporting multi-agency communication with education, Early Help, social care, and third-sector partners.Contributing to service development, pathway governance, and quality improvement initiatives.Ensuring high-quality documentation and adherence to the Waiting Well and Waiting Safely Policy.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a core professional qualification and current registration (NMC, HCPC).Has experience working within neurodevelopmental, CAMHS, education, or related settings.Demonstrates strong clinical judgement and the ability to manage risk remotely.Communicates clearly, professionally, and sensitively with families and partner agencies.Is confident in leading triage processes and supervising junior staff.Can work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.Is organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload.Is committed to improving the experience of families waiting for assessment.

We are delighted to invite an application for a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy training post to be based in the South Beds Neuro-Developmental (NDT)Team with dedicated time to the Emotional and Behavioural (E&B) in Luton CAMHS.
Health Education England has confirmed funding for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Traineeship in South Beds. The funding can extend to 4 years of clinical training at an ACP accredited training school. Applications are invited from candidates who have been accepted onto a clinical training beginning September 2026. They will already be working with children and young people in a professional capacity and will have an interest in and some understanding of psychoanalytical thinking in Parent and Infant/Child relationship and its impact on further development. Main duties of the job
The candidate will take up a post in the Neurodevelopmental Team with dedicated time into the Emotional and Behavioural Team (E&B) in Luton CAMHS team.
The successful candidate will be involved in the core work of the locality CAMHS teams alongside undertaking their psychotherapy training cases for the course of the 4 years clinical placement.
There will be opportunities to rotate across the different specialist teams (i.e. '0-5' Team; Primary Care Access Team; Eating Disorders; and Mental Health in Schools Team) with the aim of developing a specialism towards the end of the training.

Bank Senior Specialist Hand Therapist (Band 7)We are seeking out hand therapists (occupational therapist or physiotherapist) at band 7 level to join our staff bank. This is to cover ad hoc clinical work, helping us to cover gaps in our service as they arise.
We are a large team of thirty therapists supported by three assistants. We are a busy service supporting our plastic and orthopaedic hand surgery colleagues with elective and trauma activity as well as managing patients referred from rheumatology and the community.
The bank role would be within our acute trauma/post-operative service or within our routine service, dependent upon need. We are interested in hearing from hand therapists who have band 7 clinical experience managing tendon and nerve repairs, fractures (non-surgical and surgically managed), elective conditions such as Dupuytren's fasciectomy and joint replacements, and/or routine MSK referrals as first contact after GP referral.
Main duties of the job
You will manage a clinical caseload of non-surgically and surgically managed patients with traumatic and elective hand and upper limb injuries. Additionally you have the opportunity to assess and manage patients with non-surgical conditions referred from the community.
As a senior specialist hand therapist on bank you will be involved with formulating and discussing management plans with therapy and surgical colleagues and assisting with problem solving on an ad hoc basis. As such we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills that can be flexible and responsive and who is a strong team player.

The role will involve working between 27hrs-30hrs per week, working alongside our current Lead Practice Nurse, and 5 GP's within a stable practice with a list size of approximately 5800 patients. The role involves work over both our GP sites (Harbury & Bishops Itchington).
Main duties of the job
Ideally the applicant will have experience working in General Practice and be able to deliver a high level of care to our patients to cover all general treatment room nursing, chronic disease management, cytology, Immunisations, wound care and general lifestyle advice.
However we would welcome application from Nurses who do not have general practice experience but have nursing experience and are keen to learn the role of a Practice Nurse (and undertake relevant training)
Applicants will be confident in working independently and as part of a team, able to prioritize workload and willing to take on responsibility for decision-making.
Flexibility is required as in addition to the contracted hours there will be additional hours to cover leave and sickness

This is an exciting time to join the team as you will be part of a hospital and medical department currently undergoing a period of innovation and development.
The successful candidate will be joining our innovative team of 4 Consultants within our clinical assessment unit, SDEC and our dementia specialist ward Oasis. You will work alongside other speciality doctors, foundation doctors and GP trainees, junior clinical fellows and the wider multi disciplinary team.
The post is a permanent post and therefore essential criteria must be met. These include achievement of competencies equivalent to the end of IMT2 training. Colleagues must be able to organise and prioritise their workload and support more junior members of the MDT. There will be a commitment to work days nights and weekends on a rota basis with this post.

Main duties of the job
Clinical Assessment UnitThe post holder will be expected to take part in the assessment and management of acute patients admitted to the CAU. This will include taking part in the daily assessment of patients, initiating management plans for these patients and performing procedures (under supervision if needed). Rochdale Infirmary does not have level 2 care therefore you will be expected to make decisions on who can be managed on this site and who may need escalating off site.
Medical SDECAs a senior clinical decision maker you will work with experienced doctors, Advanced Care Practitioners, senior nurses to screen and accept referrals from the Urgent Treatment Centre, General Practitioners, North West Ambulance Service and community services including the Rapid response Response team and Hospital at Home teams. The caseload encompasses a broad range of ambulatory care-sensitive medical conditions for which you will provide clinical assessments, formulate investigation and management plans and offer safe onward referral or discharge.
You may also assist in co-ordination the care of patients assessed by other practitioners, offering your knowledge and advice in support of the department outside usual office hours.

We have a new, exciting opportunity to join our existing clinical team.

The Imaging Department supports one of the busiest A&Es in the country as well as a broad range of specialties with a CT Colon service, walk-in GP services, dedicated MRI pacemaker imaging service, Dental services and MDT-led Fluoroscopy services. The new hospital planned for Whipps Cross will feature imaging as an essential provider for same day assessment and treatment of patients.
Imaging services across Barts Health are transitioning to a new model of work, recruiting more staff, including Imaging Assistants, to drive the quality of care delivered by Radiography across all sites. Main duties of the job
Working within a multi-disciplinary team the post-holder will contribute to the safe and effective running of the imaging department. Main duties of the job
Beyond the expected assessment, treatment and collaboration as required, you will sometimes need to refer patients for investigations and/or the secondary care input, you will ensure the provision of continuity of care including follow-up if required. You will contribute to the writing of Care Plans for those patients at risk of hospital admission where necessary.

Main duties of the job
Prescribing & Medicines Optimisation
- Lead improvements in prescribing to ensure safe, cost-effective best practice that enhances patient care.
- Conduct medication switches in line with practice and ICB protocols, reviewing and updating patient records and informing patients accordingly.
- Promote and implement electronic repeat dispensing and online ordering.
- Manage shared care protocols and escalate complex cases to Clinical Pharmacists.
- Optimise dosages and synchronise medications during patient record reviews.
- Minimise clinical risk and reduce medicine waste through better prescribing processes.
- Assist in implementing national prescribing policies, QIPP initiatives, QOF targets, and locally commissioned enhanced services.
- Support the Medicines Optimisation strategy of the ICB and PCN.
- Maintain relevant databases and reporting systems for prescribing data, medicines optimisation, and outcomes.
- Complete audits around patient safety and cost-effective prescribing and present the information for sharing with the clinical team.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with the PCN Clinical Pharmacist to deliver the Clinical Pharmacy in General Practice (CPGP) model.
- Liaise with ICB Medicines Optimisation team, community, and hospital pharmacy colleagues.
- Participate in practice meetings, patient participation groups, and stakeholder engagements to promote pharmacy technician contributions.
- Support the development and review of practice policies in line with CQC and safeguarding requirements.
- Support GP practices in containing prescribing expenditure and propose cost-saving changes where necessary.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the effectiveness of PCN-wide service delivery.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Use GP clinical systems (e.g. SystmOne) to conduct and report on prescribing audits.
- Maintain and utilise relevant information systems and databases for medicines optimisation, prescribing data, cost savings, and patient outcomes.
- Report key performance indicators to demonstrate value in line with NICE guidance.
- Respond to MHRA drug alerts, advising practices on medication changes where appropriate.
Professional Development & Supervision
- Engage in ongoing learning and development to maintain required knowledge and skills, including annual performance reviews and continuous personal/professional development.
- Demonstrate new skills and procedures to others as required.
- Receive clinical supervision and day-to-day support from a named individual within the PCN.
- Manage own time, workload, and resources effectively to meet deadlines and priorities.
Governance, Quality and Compliance
- Maintain confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Guidelines, and Confidentiality Code of Conduct.
- Undertake clinical audits and share outcomes to support quality improvement.
- Maintain appropriate safeguarding knowledge and comply with organisational safeguarding policies and practices.
- Report any infection prevention and control issues to the relevant lead.
