Job summary

Join our friendly and dedicated Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Team (ED-ITT) as a Medical Secretary and play a vital role in supporting a specialist service that is currently expanding through a number of exciting new developments and recruitment opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a Consultant Psychiatrist, GP with Specialist Interest, and a multidisciplinary team including administrators, mental health nurses, healthcare support workers, psychologists, dietitians and occupational therapists, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality care for people experiencing eating disorders.
As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, including diary management, audio typing, appointment coordination, meeting organisation and maintaining accurate patient records.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised individual who can work confidently under pressure, manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality at all times. Previous medical secretary or senior administrative experience is desirable, together with strong IT skills and a commitment to delivering an excellent service. You will be part of a compassionate team that genuinely makes a difference to people's lives, with opportunities to develop your skills, contribute to service improvement and build rewarding professional relationships within a specialist service.
