At University Hospitals of Leicester, our Booking Centre Operatives are essential in shaping the beginning of our patient's journey.
We're looking for someone with experience in patient or customer service, with strong communication skills, an organised approach & willingness to help, who will bring a positive dynamic to our team.
As part of our team, you'll make sure every patient receives a great experience from the get go, creating a positive impression at every opportunity.- Answering all telephone calls in a prompt, clear and friendly manner
- Transferring calls efficiently
- Responding to patient enquiries
- Ensuring patient details are captured accurately when booking appointments

Main duties of the job
- Answering all patient incoming calls to the Booking Centre.
- Dealing with patient written queries via Accurx.
- Making outbound calls to support patients to attend their appointments.
- Make appointments for GP blood tests.
- Point of contact for various specialties in UHL.
- Cancelling and rebooking appointments.

To actively participate in the sharing of skills and experience, aiding the spread of good practice throughout the team.
To be responsible for the cover of sickness and absence amongst team members, ensuring the service is maintained at the required level.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a first contact physiotherapist practitioner to join our forward-thinking, multidisciplinary team and support PCCO Primary Care Network.
We have a well-developed MSK team, comprised of three GPs with a specialist interest in MSK and three senior physiotherapists. The post holder will manage a complex caseload of patients, working independently to assess, diagnose and manage patient's musculoskeletal problems.
This physiotherapist will be given the opportunity to become an advanced practitioner using their own special interests, a clinical case load and being hands on in group work.
At PCCO PCN, you will be given the agency to work as an independent professional, working with the PCN management team to analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to identify areas of need within our population and formulate plans and projects to create support pathways for these patients. You will also receive referrals from other PCN and practice members to provide 1-2-1 support to patients who require an MSK assessment.
You will have access to clinical supervision from one of our Clinical Directors and support from the rest of our PCN and practice teams. You will work closely with GPs, community services, the city MSK service, EMAS, Social Care, Practice staff and wider MDTs.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be given the autonomy to specialise in specific health conditions in line with population health analysis and work with the wider MDT for conditions such as chronic pain.

The Associate Dean (Primary Care) will support the Primary Care Dean and GP School in setting the strategic direction and development of clinical and professional education in Primary Care across the multi-professional primary care workforce within the Midlands.

An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior Virtual Clinical Care Team Nurse to work within Virtual Clinical Care Team.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking an experienced and passionate practitioner, with experience of/ or a commitment to becoming an experienced Infant Feeding Lead. This role will provide strategic leadership for infant feeding across our Childrens Public Health 019 Nursing Service. This is a key role focused on driving excellence in evidence-based practice, improving breastfeeding outcomes, and reducing health inequalities for families across Nottingham.
You will lead on achieving and sustaining UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative standards, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, partner organisations and local communities to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and continuous service improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to influence practice, shape service design and make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of our communities.

Main duties of the job
The Salaried GP will provide high-quality general medical services to the practice population, working as part of the wider multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing routine and urgent GP consultations, both face-to-face and remotely.
- Holding responsibility for a defined patient list, supporting continuity of care.
- Assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and long-term conditions.
