Job summary
The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients' pathway of care. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will provide support in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.
Main duties of the job
- Process and log all referrals, including paper and Choose and Book, in line with Trust Access Policy and speciality SOP.
- Schedule new and follow up appointments with the most appropriate clinician, ensuring that capacity is proactively and efficiently used, escalating issues as required to the Admin Manager/Team Leader
- Ensure that any diagnostics and investigations that are required as part of the patient pathway have been requested, including those carried out at other Trusts.
- Assist in the co-ordination of appointments and procedures at other hospitals and organisations, where required.
- Ensure clinic outcomes are recorded accurately on CRS, including those for offsite clinics.
- Under supervision, completeclinic cancellation forms and process according to SOP.
- Reschedule outpatient clinics as requested by Admin Manager/Team leader, in line with waiting time targets
- Use the Trust's medical transcription system and ensure that letters are processed in accordance with SOP

Main duties of the job
The Administrator will provide high-level, autonomous administrative and coordination support to the Tuberculosis (TB) and Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) team. Working independently and using initiative, the post holder will manage complex patient pathways, oversee clinic scheduling, maintain high-quality data for monitoring and public health reporting, and act as a primary point of contact for patients, clinical teams, and external partners. The role requires proactive problem-solving, ownership of administrative processes, and the ability to make informed decisions within defined limits to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the TB and respiratory services. The post holder will contribute to service development, identify administrative improvements, and support the CNS team in delivering a safe and responsive service. The post holder will provide assistance to the respiratory department when required and as requested.

- Currently we have a position for a full time Radiology Department Assistant (Band 3) within our service, which incorporates all general radiographic assistant duties.
- A wide range of imaging modalities are used within Radiology, including X-ray, CT scanning and Nuclear Medicine.
Main duties of the job
- The post-holder will join our existing team of Radiology Dept Assistants who assist Radiographers, Ultrasonographers and Radiologists with their clinical work. Administrative and clerical work is also part of the role.
- The post holder will be expected to cannulate.
- These positions will incorporate some time within our mammography and gynaecological ultrasound areas.
