• Currently we have a position for a full time Radiology Department Assistant (Band 3) within our service, which incorporates all general radiographic assistant duties.
• A wide range of imaging modalities are used within Radiology, including X-ray, CT scanning and Nuclear Medicine.

Main duties of the job

• The post-holder will join our existing team of Radiology Dept Assistants who assist Radiographers, Ultrasonographers and Radiologists with their clinical work. Administrative and clerical work is also part of the role.
• The post holder will be expected to cannulate.
• These positions will incorporate some time within our mammography and gynaecological ultrasound areas.
• A flexible working attitude is essential, as the service runs extended hours working across a 7 day working week.
