Job summary
Are you an experienced, motivated, enthusiastic Specialist MSK Clinician with a passion for spines looking for a new challenge? If so then we would love to talk to you!
Referrals into the Specialist MSK service are from MSK physiotherapy, FCP, GP or self-referral. The caseload comprises complex patients with musculoskeletal pain, or those who have not responded to primary care intervention. Advanced clinical reasoning, investigative and analytical skills are required to ensure appropriate investigation are undertaken, and to facilitate decision making regarding most appropriate management options, ensuring delivery of high quality evidence based care.
You will work both independently and alongside a highly experienced team of Specialists, Clinical Leads and MSK Consultants who are key to driving the development of the service. There are opportunities to be involved in Service Improvement, Audit, Research and Quality Improvement. CPD and mentorship is integral to effective service delivery and as well as undertaking a robust competency programme you will have regular workshops/peer support. You will also actively support junior colleges within the Physiotherapy service.
Current vacancies are in the Southampton, Fareham & Gosport and South East Hampshire area although team members will be expected to be able to work across the service geography if required.
Main duties of the job
- To be professional and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your own work including the management of patients in your care.
- To undertake specialist assessment, interpret the relevant clinical findings of complex patients with musculoskeletal pain or those who have not responded to primary care interventions.
- To make decisions, using investigative, clinical reasoning and analytical skills regarding the appropriate medical investigation of choice and implementation of such including injections.
- To ensure a high standard of clinical care for the patients under your management, and support and facilitate more junior staff to do likewise, using evidence based practices and evaluate outcomes.
- Provide timely advice over the management of all patients entering the care pathway.
- To advise GP's, patients, families, employers and Physiotherapists on best management.
- To be responsible for the setting and monitoring of standards and policies of clinical practice physiotherapy service referring patients to the specialist pathways.
- To keep accurate, legible records of patient care in line with Trust and service guidelines, being responsible for all physiotherapy records held by the Specialist service, using audit tools when appropriate
- To lead in quality improvement, such as projects to support shared decision-making and improve patient centred care, helping to deliver the NHS long-term plan.

Act as a point of contact for all general day to day HR issues relating to the Practice.

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a part time housekeeper to work on Surgical Assessment Unit ward 18. The post will involve working 18.5 hours per week on a rolling rota to include 2 weekends per month.
Surgical Assessment unit is a bust department with a high turnover of patients, we admit emergency patients from Accident and Emergency and GP pathways. We have a great team who would welcome you with open arms and support you during the integration into our team.

Main duties of the job
As Lead GP your time will be dedicated to on-site clinical care provision as a critical member of an experienced and passionate multi-disciplinary primary healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and support to members of the prison's healthcare team. Working with your Head of Healthcare and North West Regional Lead GP you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of GP clinical services on site. Main duties of the job
The Operations & Performance Data Manager will provide high-quality analytical, performance and business intelligence support across FedBucks' Integrated Urgent Care, Primary Care Services and Community Healthcare programmes.
The post holder will be responsible for the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of operational, workforce, clinical and contractual performance data to support effective decision-making, service improvement and organisational growth.
Working across a broad portfolio of services including NHS 111, Clinical Assessment Services (CAS), Out of Hours (OOH), Primary Care Services, Community Healthcare Wellness Workers (CHWW), and associated healthcare programmes, the role will develop meaningful insights that improve patient access, service delivery, workforce utilisation and contractual performance.
The post holder will work with multiple clinical and operational systems including EMIS, Adastra, eRS, Joy, OtpoLink and other organisational datasets to provide accurate reporting, forecasting, dashboard development and performance analysis.
The role will support operational leaders, managers and directors in understanding service demand, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring services deliver against contractual, quality and organisational objectives.

About us
Our clinical team consists of two GP partners, locum GP's, a Practice Nurse, a Health Care Assistant, two GP Assistants, three Clinical Pharmacists and a Pharmacy Technician. The clinical team are support by a Practice Manager, Operations Manager, Administrators and a Medical Secretary. Our reception team work as Care Navigators providing enhanced signposting and ensuring patients have access to the appropriate clinicians or services available to them.

Due to ongoing service development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated nurse to play a key role in establishing and developing care pathways for patients with endometriosis within U H Sussex.
The post holder will work with the Lead Consultant for Endometriosis and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality specialist care, advice, and support for women experiencing pelvic pain and endometriosis.
This is an autonomous role suited to a confident and proactive practitioner who can work independently, drive service development, and influence patient pathways.
The successful candidate for the Band 7 post will be an experienced Endometriosis Nurse Specialist able to develop and deliver dedicated nurse-led pelvic pain clinics and patient support initiatives.
There is the opportunity to apply for the trainee Band 6 role with the view to moving to band 7 following a successful training program and completion of competencies provided through external course and inhouse training. Significant experience in Gynaecology is essential. (See Band 6 JD)
The role is based predominantly at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath, with the occasional requirement to support other UH Sussex sites.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Nurse Specialist for Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis will lead the delivery of specialist, evidence-based care for women and their families. Acting as an expert practitioner, the post holder will manage their own clinics, provide specialist advice and education, and support patients throughout their care journey.
The specialist nurse will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team (MDT), ensuring effective communication between service users and providers, and contribute to the development of guidelines, patient information, and service standards. The role requires strong leadership, flexibility, and commitment to high-quality, sustainable care, while serving as a role model for nursing practice within the organisation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Heart Failure Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the community Heart Failure team in Pembrokeshire.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated registered nurse with strong clinical skills and a sound theoretical knowledge base in heart failure. This is a part-time post (15 hours per week, across two days).
The community Heart Failure CNS team provides specialist nursing care to individuals diagnosed with heart failure, supporting them to manage their condition effectively within their own homes. The service is focused on reducing hospital admissions, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing overall patient experience.
You will work closely with cardiology consultants, specialist nurses, primary care teams and wider community services to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.
Strong communication, organisational and clinical skills are essential. Experience in heart failure management and/or completion of a relevant post-registration course is desirable, with opportunities for further development supported within the role.
Main duties of the job
- Manage a defined caseload of patients with complex heart failure, using evidence-based and person-centred approaches
- Undertake comprehensive, holistic assessments and develop, implement and evaluate care plans across the primary and secondary care interface

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Health Care Support Worker to work within the Responsive Hospital Support Team, as part of the Older Adult Psychiatric Liaison service. The service is currently based between St Woolos Hospital and Nevill Hall Hospital site/s.
The post will involve working with patients who have both functional and organic mental health diagnosis, in a general hospital setting, under the direction of Band 6 practitioners.
The service works in every general care facility within the ABUHB trust, and applicants will be required to move between sites as part of their role.
The hours of work 8:00 - 16:00 / 12:00 - 20:00 - Monday to Friday. 9:00 - 17:00 - Saturday to Sunday
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Job summary
This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months due to maternity leave. The Radiology Directorate in ABUHB is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Band 3 HCSW. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an innovative and expanding Health Board to work closely with and assist professional staff in a range of duties to ensure the smooth running of Radiology Services across ABUHB. This role is currently under review within the Health Board and will result in the issuing of a revised band 3 job description. If appointed, your manager will ensure you are kept informed and support you through any changes, including discussing relevant training requirements.
Currently we are unable to provide certificates of sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the Home Office's criteria. Anyone requiring a certificate of sponsorship is therefore unable to be shortlisted and interviewed.
Main duties of the job
In this position you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a quality radiology service for our patients . This will involve providingclinical support to Doctors and Radiographers and Nurses throughout the department, assisting with manual handling tasks in a manner which is safe for both patients and staff. Answering the telephone for general queries and directing calls appropriately. Assisting with the preparation of examination rooms. Ensure rooms are clean and tidy; damp dusting on a daily basis. To undertake clinical duties such as cleaning and preparing areas before and after clinical procedures - observing aseptic techniques where required. Maintaining appropriate levels of stationary, laundry, gloves, gowns, cleaning equipment. To adhere to and promote the Trust's Infection Prevention and Control policies and procedures and make every effort to maintain high standards of infection control at all times thereby reducing the risk of Healthcare Associated infections. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
