An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic GP to join our friendly team. The position is for 6-8 sessions per week. You will join a dedicated team of GPs, supportive nursing and administration teams. We work from purpose built premises and provide a full range of Enhanced Services and Chronic Disease Management.
Main duties of the job
You will be joining a supportive, friendly and well organised GP practice to provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services to the registered diverse population of Gosforth, working as part of the multidisciplinary primary care team in accordance with GMC standards, NHS regulations, and practice policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary medical care including consultations, examinations, and treatment planning
- Undertake surgery consultations (face-to-face, telephone, and online as appropriate)
- Manage acute and chronic conditions
- Conduct home visits where required
- Participate in duty doctor / on-call rota as agreed
- Review and action clinical correspondence and test results in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records
- Prescribe safely and cost-effectively in line with local and national guidance

We are a friendly, well-organised 2 Partner Practice serving around 7,400 patients. We are also part of 7 practices that make up Sunderland West Primary Care Network which has an excellent track record for collaboration, care and support.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Health Care Support Worker to work within the Responsive Hospital Support Team, as part of the Older Adult Psychiatric Liaison service. The service is currently based between St Woolos Hospital and Nevill Hall Hospital site/s.
The post will involve working with patients who have both functional and organic mental health diagnosis, in a general hospital setting, under the direction of Band 6 practitioners.
The service works in every general care facility within the ABUHB trust, and applicants will be required to move between sites as part of their role.
The hours of work 8:00 - 16:00 / 12:00 - 20:00 - Monday to Friday. 9:00 - 17:00 - Saturday to Sunday

Job summary

The Radiology Directorate in ABUHB is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Band 3 HCSW. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an innovative and expanding Health Board to work closely with and assist professional staff in a range of duties to ensure the smooth running of Radiology Services across ABUHB. This role is currently under review within the Health Board and will result in the issuing of a revised band 3 job description. If appointed, your manager will ensure you are kept informed and support you through any changes, including discussing relevant training requirements.

Main duties of the job
In this position you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a quality radiology service for our patients . This will involve providingclinical support to Doctors and Radiographers and Nurses throughout the department, assisting with manual handling tasks in a manner which is safe for both patients and staff. Answering the telephone for general queries and directing calls appropriately. Assisting with the preparation of examination rooms. Ensure rooms are clean and tidy; damp dusting on a daily basis. To undertake clinical duties such as cleaning and preparing areas before and after clinical procedures - observing aseptic techniques where required. Maintaining appropriate levels of stationary, laundry, gloves, gowns, cleaning equipment. To adhere to and promote the Trust's Infection Prevention and Control policies and procedures and make every effort to maintain high standards of infection control at all times thereby reducing the risk of Healthcare Associated infections. An opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 full-time (1 WTE) Assistant Psychologist to join the Psychology in Schools Team (PST) in the Early Intervention Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. Specialty Doctor in Breast Surgery
Barts Health NHS Trust are currently welcoming applications for a full time 10PA Speciality doctor to join the Breast Surgery department at the Barts Cancer Centre. This position will initially be offered on a fixed term basis for a period of 6 month.
Bart's Breast Unit is a tertiary referral centre for the treatment of breast disease. Part of Bart's Health NHS Trust, the unit is located at St Bartholomew's Hospital in the City of London, which is a large, state of the art cancer and cardiac centre. Outpatient clinics are undertaken in a purpose-built unit with adjacent imaging and biopsy facilities. We offer the full range of breast procedures, including oncoplastic breast conservation and mastectomy with immediate and delayed reconstruction.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of a team of Specialist Registrars and Consultants in Breast Surgery, as well as the wider multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will assist in the provision of elective breast surgery, outpatient clinics, inpatient ward cover and the preparation of the multidisciplinary team meeting. The post holder will have the opportunity to operate independently within their own competencies for specific procedures and will be supported by the consultant body to develop further competencies within the field of breast surgery, with ample opportunity to be involved with major cases in oncoplastic breast surgery and breast reconstruction. The clinical commitments will depend on service requirements, but will span outpatient clinics (one stop and routine follow-up) and theatre.
The successful applicant will be expected to play a key role in the on-going development of the Breast Unit and will work alongside the consultants to develop and expand the service.

The service is both GP and consultant led. Admission are accepted from the community and both general hospitals within Carmarthenshire.

Main duties of the job
The Registered Nurse is required to work with Multi-disciplinary team in the rehabilitation environment to promote independence and supporting discharge process.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills in order to use and apply this knowledge to facilitate complex discharges.

We are seeking to appoint Consultant Radiologists to join our friendly Radiology Team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust ( LGT) . We are seeking Breast radiologist, Head and neck radiologist, and Musculoskeletal radiologist with ultrasound intervention, fluoroscopy and general radiology sessions to help complement our team and grow our services team and grow our services. The job plan will be reviewed annually and may be negotiated to meet service needs.
*The job plan will include plain film, Ultrasound, CT, MR, duty radiologist sessions and a session in lieu of 1 in 8 on call. This frequency is expected to reduce as we appoint new radiologists.

On Call Commitment:

As a Staff Nurse you will be required to take charge of the shift and offer management supervision sessions to the Clinical Support Workers who are assigned to you.

There is also opportunity for further training and development as part of career development, full preceptorship will be given to those who are newly qualified.

We have vacancies for Clerical Officers to join the team at the newly developed Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) and at the Ealing Hospital Acute Site.

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 staff Nurse to join the team at Amman Valley Hospital on Cysgod Y Cwm ward.
Cysgod Y Cwm ward is a Rehabilitation and Palliative care ward. This is a 28 bedded unit focusing on rehabilitation of the elderly.
The service is both GP and consultant led. Admissions are accepted from the community and both general hospitals within Carmarthenshire.
This is a part time post for 22.5 hours.
Main duties of the job
The Registered Nurse is required to work with Multi-disciplinary team in the rehabilitation environment to promote independence and supporting discharge process.
