Applications are invited for 2 full-time post Interventional Consultant in Radiology, with an interest in General Radiology for United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT). This post has been created to support the existing team across the working week, and further the expansion of interventional radiology services.
We are looking for dynamic colleagues with enthusiasm and leadership qualities. United Lincolnshire Hospitals (ULH) is an Acute Hospital Trust in the East Midlands providing acute services to the people of the Lincolnshire region and has a positive and successful approach to developing and delivering excellence in health care.
Main duties of the job
- Duties/Key Responsibilities
The Appointee will be expected, in conjunction with his / her colleagues, to provide acomprehensive radiology service to United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) to the highest standard.
From a base to be agreed provide reporting services to other sites within the trust. Any successful candidate may be expected to work on other sites within the Trust as required.
The Appointee will be expected, in conjunction with his / her colleagues, to provide acomprehensive radiology service to United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT). Any successful candidate is expected to routinely work on the sites within the Trust as required.
The post may be flexible to some degree based on workload and activity. Team work is very important.
The post holder will support and work closely with the Clinical Director, Radiology Head of Service, Lead Nurse and Radiology Operational Managers.

- Main Conditions of Employment
The terms and conditions of employment will be determined by the United LincolnshireHospitals NHS Trust terms and conditions of employment. These are generally in line with the relevant provisions of the Terms and Conditions of Service of Hospital Medical and DentalStaff (England and Wales) and General Whitley Council Terms and Conditions of Service, as amended from time to time.
In determining salary for the post, the Trust will pay no less favourable rates than those paid to NHS Consultant Medical and Dental Staff. If, in the future, the Trust establishes alternative negotiating arrangements you will be notified of those arrangements, and thereafter any agreements thus reached will form part of your Contract of Employment.
The appointee will be expected to cover for colleagues' absence from duty on the basis of mutually agreed arrangements with the department and the trust. Job description
Job responsibilities
The post holder shall have medical clearance arranged by the Trust before taking up employment.
- Residence
The person appointed will be required to maintain his/her private residence in contact with the public telephone service and reside within reasonable access bearing in mind the duties of the post. The Trust requires the successful candidate to live within a distance of 10 miles by road of their main site.

Patient administration underpins the patient journey and supports clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care and can make a real difference to the patient experience. Effective and efficient patient administration supports management through ensuring a high standard of data quality and by making the best use of capacity and resources. The Medical Secretary is pivotal in achieving effective patient administration.
Main duties of the job
Deal with urgent and routine correspondence and tasks in accordance with agreed practice and CQUIN standards including transcription from digital dictation,for the Consultant's team, which may include outpatient reports, operation notes and other relevant clinical and non-clinical correspondence.
Maintain accurate 18-week referral to treatment (RTT) pathway for patients. Following validation be responsible for accurate and timely recording, reporting exceptions to senior personnel
Works with Choice & Access to arrange clinics cancellations, ensuring clear instructions are given to re-appointing patients, escalating capacity issues to the Specialty Co-ordinator.
Open and prioritise correspondence on behalf of consultant ensuring that urgent correspondence receives prompt attention.
Ensures patient pathways are updated to minimise validation and data quality issues. When required will assist in the validation of patient pathways working with the Specialty.
Receive, manage and prioritise telephone and personal enquires, complaints, messages and information from patients, relatives, General Practitioners, Consultants and other medical staff and external organisations on behalf of Consultant and clinical team.
Manage patient investigation results. Responsible for chasing up missing results. Maintain systems for monitoring and retrieving outstanding investigations. Maintain Consultant's diary.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) team at Lincoln County Hospital. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the delivery and continued development of our ENT service.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Resident Doctor to join the ENT Department. The successful candidate will be expected to work at a level equivalent to a first-year ENT Registrar; therefore, previous experience within ENT is essential. While this post is aligned to an IMT3-level position, applications are welcomed from candidates with previous ENT Specialty Registrar (SpR) experience.
Although this is not a recognised training post, the successful applicant will be assigned an Educational Supervisor and supported in completing workplace-based assessments aligned to the ENT curriculum competencies. The post holder will be encouraged to participate in the Trust's educational and teaching programmes and will have opportunities for exposure to a range of ENT subspecialties, supporting professional development, career progression, and future applications to specialty training programmes.
Main duties of the job

- Undertake ward rounds and provide middle-grade support for inpatient ENT services.
- Assess and manage acute ENT referrals from the Emergency Department, General Practice, and other hospital specialties.
- Participate in ENT outpatient clinics, including new patient, follow-up, and urgent referral clinics as appropriate.
- Gain experience and training opportunities across a broad range of ENT subspecialties, in line with previous experience and individual development needs.
- Participate in elective and emergency ENT theatre sessions, undertaking diagnostic and therapeutic procedures appropriate to level of experience and competency.

Job summary
The Anaesthetic Department at Pilgrim Hospital provides anaesthetic services for all the surgical specialties based at Pilgrim Hospital, plusservices to the Accident and Emergency department and the Department of Radiology (including CT and MRI scanning) There is a 12 beddedICU/HDU staffed by the Anaesthetic department.
Theatre facilities include 11 operating theatres; a block of four for gynaecological surgery, general/colorectal surgery, vascular surgery and urology, and a block of six for trauma & elective orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, breast surgery, ENT and dental surgery, plus one operating theatre in the maternity block.
The Anaesthetic Department staffing include 15 Generalist Consultants, 6 Intensive Care Consultants, 1 Specialist Grade and 16 Specialty Doctor posts in total. There arealso some training posts that rotate with Leicester.
Main duties of the job
- Rotating between ICU and Anaesthesia (covering emergencies & obstetrics) over an 8 week rolling on-call rota. The competency expected of this role will equivalent to ST4+ level within the UK with the candidate being able to work under indirect supervision with the non-resident Consultant on-call for advice.
- Critical Care component - You will be expected to screen patients for admission to Critical Care from ED, Medical Wards, Surgical Wards and postoperatively and communicate effectively with the Consultant in charge. You will be required to organise stabilisation, transfer to the critical care unit =/- radiological unit and establish all lines required by the patient for level 2/3 care.
- The Obstetric component - You will be expected to manage intrapartum and intraoperative anaesthesia and analgesia for an elective and emergency obstetric patient population and support their post operative analgesia and stabilisation in critical incidents whilst senior, non-resident support is sought where required.
- There will be regular commitments to surgical operating lists with consultant supervision in accordance with Royal College of Anaesthetists recommendations for training. SAS colleagues will be encouraged to work independently which is supported by a Trust approved process.

Job summary
The Anaesthetic Department at Pilgrim Hospital provides anaesthetic services for all the surgical specialties based at Pilgrim Hospital, plusservices to the Accident and Emergency department and the Department of Radiology (including CT and MRI scanning) There is a 12 beddedICU/HDU staffed by the Anaesthetic department.
Theatre facilities include 11 operating theatres; a block of four for gynaecological surgery, general/colorectal surgery, vascular surgery and urology, and a block of six for trauma & elective orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, breast surgery, ENT and dental surgery, plus one operating theatre in the maternity block.
The Anaesthetic Department staffing include 15 Generalist Consultants, 6 Intensive Care Consultants, 1 Specialist Grade and 16 Specialty Doctor posts in total. There are also some training posts that rotate with Leicester.
Main duties of the job
- Rotating between ICU and Anaesthesia (covering emergencies & obstetrics) over an 8 week rolling on-call rota. The competency expected of this role will equivalent toST4+ levelwithin the UK with the candidate being able to work under indirect supervision with the non-resident Consultant on-call for advice.
- Critical Care component - You will be expected to screen patients for admission to Critical Care from ED, Medical Wards, Surgical Wards and postoperatively and communicate effectively with the Consultant in charge. You will be required to organise stabilisation, transfer to the critical care unit =/- radiological unit and establish all lines required by the patient for level 2/3 care.
- The Obstetric component - You will be expected to manage intrapartum and intraoperative anaesthesia and analgesia for an elective and emergency obstetric patient population and support their post operative analgesia and stabilisation in critical incidents whilst senior, non-resident support is sought where required.
- There will be regular commitments to surgical operating lists with consultant supervision in accordance with Royal College of Anaesthetists recommendations for training. SAS colleagues will be encouraged to work independently which is supported by a Trust approved process.

Job summary
We are looking for a band 6 physiotherapist to join our musculoskeletal outpatients team at our Lincoln and Louth sites. You will get the opportunity to assess and treat a wide variety of MSK conditions including consultant and GP referrals. Within this role you will autonomously manage a complex clinical case load and be responsible for supporting the learning and development of junior staff, assistants and students within the team.

Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard of Physiotherapy in the Musculoskeletal Outpatient service. To deliver classes and 1:1 care as clinically indicated.
To perform more advanced and detailed assessments with patients presenting with more diverse and complex conditions, providing a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised specialist treatment programme.
To hold own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision.
Be responsible for supervision of junior staff contributing to in service training and induction programmes.
You will contribute to daily triage, ensuring patients get the care they need and be able to identify needs for onward referral and requirement for external services.
Our team's are always striving to improve services for our patients, in this role you will be encouraged to participate and lead on service development and quality improvement projects or audit.
