Job summary
Salaried GP £98,865 to £110,061 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
gtd healthcare is one of the largest, not-for-profit, NHS commissioned primary and urgent care providers in North West England. We are values-driven, embrace the ethos of social enterprise and care for people, families and communities, in order to improve their health and wider wellbeing.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Salaried GP to join our small team providing care at New Bank Health Centre. We're looking for a GP, experienced or newly qualified who is keen to be part of a larger organisation as well as a smaller practice team.
New Bank Health Centre is a practice located in Longsight, Manchester. We are situated on Stockport Road in a purpose built medical centre which offers great links to public transport.
We put our people at the heart of everything we do and we are passionate about providing the best possible healthcare for our patients.
We are recruiting for a part time position, the successful candidate will be required to work on a Monday, the other day will be confirmed at interview.
Main duties of the job
You will provide routine and urgent clinical care for both acute and long term conditions working to local and national guidelines.
The daily clinical workload is split equally amongst all clinicians with additional workload kept to a minimum by our excellent care navigation team, who work hard to signpost to the most appropriate of our extensive local community services.
The home visit demand on the practice is generally low however, there are supportive measures required and you may be required to carry out visits occasionally.
We have a practice pharmacist to support GPs with daily medicines management requests and reviews. All practice clinical admin (e.g. secondary care documents, path lab reports, patient nhs forms) is shared between clinicians daily.
A typical day is structured with 15 minute appointments as standard (except for follow ups/results) with 2/3rds of the session being clinical and 1/3rd clinical admin. Sessions are 4 hours 10 minutes. Non NHS work is also a requirement of the role, however this is remunerated as additional income to the base salary.
You will need to possess strong leadership qualities and will be expected to work with the team to continually strive to improve standards of care and, in particular, achieve QoF targets and KLOE objectives as outlined by CQC.
For further details, please refer to the attached job description.
About us
At gtd healthcare we are keen to develop and support staff to excel their career aspirations whilst making a positive difference to patients and the community. We put our people at the heart of everything we do. We are a values driven organisation and we are passionate about providing the best possible healthcare for our patients.

About us
On 1 October 26, Cowes Medical Centre and Newport Health Centre formally merged under a single partnership structure. Whilst both practices continue to operate under separate GMS contracts, responsibility for the overall management and delivery of services now sits with one partnership. This development presents an exciting opportunity to bring together the knowledge, skills, and experience that exist across both sites, whilst retaining the strengths and local identity of each practice.
The merger creates a platform for greater collaboration, shared learning, and more consistent ways of working across teams. By combining expertise and aligning processes, the practices can build on existing successes, improve resilience, enhance patient services, and create a more integrated approach to care.
We have a diverse, multi-disciplinary team which includes GP Partners, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, MSK Practitioners, Mental Health Practitioners, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Chronic Pain Coach, Care Coordinators, a Social Prescriber and many more vital roles to support our community.
We pride ourselves on a strong ethos of education, training, teamwork, and high-quality, patient-centred care and of course an enviable Island lifestyle that comes with living on the Isle of Wight (sea views optional but highly recommended)
We offer competitive pay, flexible sessions to fit around real life, protected CPD, and a genuine work-life balance.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP (4 sessions) to join our friendly, forward-thinking team.
Based at a well-established, CQC-rated Good practice, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while maintaining a supportive and collaborative working environment. You will be joining a stable and experienced clinical team, supported by a strong administrative and management structure, enabling you to focus on clinical excellence.

Main duties of the job

Our clinical and administrative teams work closely together, creating an environment where GPs feel valued, supported, and able to focus on delivering high-quality care without unnecessary pressure.

If you are looking for a role where your voice is heard, your development is supported, and you can see a long-term future, we would love to hear from you.
About us
You will be joining a welcoming, experienced, and close knit team who support one another and take pride in delivering high quality patient care. Our clinicians, nursing team, and administrative staff work collaboratively, creating a positive and respectful working environment where everyone's contribution is valued.
We have a strong work ethic but also understand the importance of balance. The team is approachable, with an open culture where ideas are encouraged, and support is always available when needed. We foster a one team approach, ensuring GPs feel part of a wider network rather than working in isolation.
Our leadership team is visible, proactive, and committed to making the practice a great place to work. We continually look at ways to improve systems and processes to make day to day work more manageable and efficient.
In return, we offer a supportive environment, opportunities for development, and a clear pathway for those interested in Partnership. This is a practice where you can build strong relationships, develop your career, and feel part of something long-term.

Job summary
Join Our Forward-Thinking Practice as a GP Partner
We are seeking an enthusiastic GP Partner to join our progressive, supportive team. Our practice operates a Total Triage model, enabling us to deliver safe, equitable, and efficient access to care while ensuring patients see the right clinician at the right time.
What are we looking for?
We are replacing a retiring Partner and looking for a minimum 5, maximum 7 session GP to add value and dynamism in a fully supportive environment.
The offer is for a yearlong fixed term contract of mutual assessment leading to Partnership for the right individual.
You will contribute immediately as a Partner and be included within all Partnership meetings and decisions. This will ensure a comprehensive understanding and practical experience of the wide-ranging demands of Partnership.
We would encourage informal engagement for candidates to understand how our current staff find working with us.
Main duties of the job
We are proud to operate a modern Total Triage modeldesigned to improve patient experience, ensure fair access, and match clinical capacity to patient need.
Every patient request, whether received online, by telephone or in person, is clinically assessed and prioritised, moving away from the traditional "first come, first served" approach and ensuring patients are seen by the right professional, in the right timeframe, and in the right setting.
Our highly skilled multi-disciplinary team enables patients to receive care from the clinician best placed to help them. This collaborative approach allows GPs to focus on complex clinical care while benefiting from a sustainable and rewarding workload.
We continue to value continuity of care, strong clinician-patient relationships and personalised healthcare. Consultations are delivered through a blend of face-to-face, telephone and digital appointments, chosen according to clinical need and patient preference.
We are equally committed to ensuring that no patient is left behind. While our model embraces digital innovation, patients who need additional support are assisted by our experienced reception team, ensuring equitable access for all members of our community.
For a prospective Partner, this means working within a forward-thinking, efficient and well-supported practice that has embraced innovation while retaining the values of traditional family medicine.
About us
We are a welcoming, progressive practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Serving a diverse community across three sites, we combine the warmth and continuity of traditional general practice with a forward-thinking approach to meeting the challenges of modern primary care.
At the heart of the practice is a genuinely collaborative culture. We believe that great patient care starts with great teamwork, and we are proud of the positive, supportive environment we have built.
We offer a range of enhanced services, including minor surgery and women's health, allowing us to deliver comprehensive care for our local population.
As an established training practice, we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of NHS professionals. We take great pride in providing a learning environment where trainees, students and experienced clinicians alike are encouraged to develop, share ideas and continually grow.
We recognise the pressures facing general practice today and have worked hard to create a culture that values wellbeing, flexibility and mutual support.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a practice where people enjoy working together, where new ideas are welcomed, and where you can help shape the future direction of the organisation while making a real difference to patients' lives

The sift will be completed within 10 working days of the vacancy closing date. Interviews will be held on a date to be confirmed.
There will be no reimbursement for any travel expenses for the interview.
All employees joining Ministry of Defence who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a 6-month probation period (unless otherwise advised) effective from the employment start date.

If found successful for this position, you will be required to provide evidence of your immunity to Hepatitis B. As a result of the changes to the UK immigration rules which came into effect on 1 January 2021, the Ministry of Defence will only offer sponsorship for a skilled worker visa under the points-based system, where a role has been deemed to be business critical. This role does not meet that category, and we will not sponsor a visa. It is therefore NOT open to applications from those who will require sponsorship under the points-based system.
Should you apply for this role and be found to require sponsorship, your application will be rejected, and any provisional offer of employment withdrawn.
This vacancy is part of the A Great Place to Work for Veterans initiative.

If you need to advise us that you need additional help or reasonable adjustments for the recruitment process, please contact [email protected].
The Ministry of Defence requires all candidates who are successful at interview to declare any outside interests. These declarations will be discussed with successful candidates following the interview process and before a formal offer of employment is made, as some outside interests may not be compatible with MOD civilian roles. This will not, in the majority of cases, prevent employment in MOD, but it is a measure that must be taken to ensure that appropriate mitigations can be put in place to manage any potential, perceived or actual conflicts of interest from the first day of employment.
The Ministry of Defence adopts a zero-tolerance approach to unacceptable behaviours, which includes bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination, and victimisation. You will not be eligible and will not be considered for this post if you have been dismissed from a role for such unacceptable behaviours within the last five years. This will also apply if you resign or otherwise leave a role but, because of an adverse decision, would have been dismissed for gross misconduct had you continued in that employment. Pre-employment checks will be carried out.
The Ministry of Defence is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for its staff which includes educating them on the benefits of not smoking, protecting them from the harmful effects of second-hand smoke and supporting those who want to give up smoking. Under the Smoke-Free Working Environment policy, Smoking and the use of all tobacco products (including combustible and chewing tobacco products) will not be permitted anywhere in the Defence working environment. The policy is Whole Force and includes all Defence personnel, contractors, visitors and other non-MOD personnel. All applicants seeking, considering, or accepting employment with the Ministry of Defence should be aware of this policy and that it is already in place at a number of Defence Establishments.
Cyber and Specialist Operations Command (CSOC) is going through a significant transformation programme which aims to design the way in which the new Military Command conducts its business and delivers for Defence and the nation. As a consequence of this, posts within CSOC are/or may become subject to review and potential changes as we continuously improve across the period of the transformation programme. These changes may be minor or could be more substantive and will generate new opportunities. Throughout, the Commands transformation programme is committed to following the MODs framework on managing and supporting people through the change process and places an emphasis on early and open consultation and engagement with the Commands personnel and Trade Unions.
