Job summary
We are looking for a GP to work 6-10 sessions per week who is enthusiastic about working within a vibrant, multidisciplinary team and committed to delivering high quality patient care. The Crown Surgery is a well-established dispensing practice offering excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Salary is dependent on experience with the possibility for Partnership in the future. The Practice supports the regular CPD session, fully pays the indemnity insurance, 6 weeks annual leave, and NHS Pension.
Excellent clinical support team including access to an Urgent Care Practitioner, First Contact Physiotherapist, Mental Health Practitioners, Social Prescriber, Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians and Practice Nurses.
We are hoping to find a new GP who:

The practice extensively uses AccuRx to communicate with patients and this includes the AccuRx triage process for patient appointments.
Main duties of the job
Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. As a senior member of the team you will be expected to set an example to others, assist in education and training and to play a full role in target achievement and service development.

In accordance with the clinical rota, as agreed, the GP will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including
Surgery consultations, telephone consultations, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.

Ensuring appropriate follow up of patients
Recording clear and contemporaneous computerised consultation notes to agreed standards
Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible)
Prescribing generically whenever appropriately and in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary, NICE guidance and Good Prescribing Practice (as defined by British National Formulary guidance)
Working with and support other members of the primary health care team in delivering high quality primary care
Promoting the application of standards and codes of Practice set by the Royal College of General Practice, General Medical Council, NHS England and local NHS trust
Take an active role in the practice achieving agreed QOF and other key performance indicator targets.
Responsibility for targets and services allocated, such as a QOF area of Enhanced Service.
Take an active role in delivering clinical and organisational governance.

Job summary
A receptionist is required for our busy rural dispensing practice.

We are a friendly family orientated practice and have around 8,600 patients, with 6 GPs offering a mix of routine and urgent on-the-day appointments.

Excellent supportive admin/reception team.

We are part of the Stone & Eccleshall Primary Care Network (PCN) and work collaboratively to deliver key services.

ROLE DEFINITION:
To assist in the smooth day to day running of the Reception Team, ensuring receptionist duties are completed efficiently and adhere to the guidelines that are laid down by doctors and management.

Premises
Open up premises at the start of the day when first to arrive and make all necessary preparations to receive patients
When last to leave at the end of the day, ensure that the building is totally secured, internal lights are off and the alarm activated.

To be available to the clinical staff during surgery hours to ensure the smooth running of surgery

Ensure all prescriptions are processed accurately and available to doctors to check and sign prior to and on completion of surgery

A receptionist is required for our busy rural dispensing practice.
Experience preferred but full training will be provided.
