Due to the upcoming recategorisation of HMP Brixton to a Category B Remand Prison, we have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team. The site is based close to Brixton underground station with good access via public transport. This role will specifically involve working within receptions, with the new intake of patients on Saturdays. During the receptions time we offer a nurse led service, GP's will be involved in same day medications, leavers medication, acute health needs and substance misuse detox and prescribing.

Hours

Sessions available:Monday - Sunday

Morning: 09:00 - 13:00

Afternoon: 14:00 - 17:00

Evening: 17:00 - 21:00

Salary

This is a bank role with an hourly rate of £100.

You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team including the substance misuse nurses, and early days mental health team to deliver high quality healthcare services. Suitable applicant for this role must have experience and feel confident prescribing controlled substance.

Mondays - 8.00 - 16.30

This position is parttime working 8 hours per week.

Salary

You'll receive an annual salary up to £125,692 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
