Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Administrator Apprentice to join our IT team at Newgate Medical Group.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in administration within a busy Primary Care environment, while working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
Working alongside our experienced IT team, you will receive training, guidance and support to develop your skills across a wide range of administrative and systems-based duties. This will include supporting patient registrations, medical records, data inputting and the maintenance of accurate information within our clinical system.
As your knowledge and confidence develop, you will gain experience across the different functions of the IT department, working closely with colleagues across the Practice and contributing to the smooth running of our services.
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and keen to learn, with good communication skills, attention to detail and a positive approach to developing within the role.
Main duties of the job
The IT Administrator Apprentice will work as part of the IT team, receiving training and support to develop competency across the different functions of the department.
The main duties of the role will include processing new patient registrations and deductions, maintaining and updating electronic patient records, scanning and processing clinical correspondence, supporting patient recall systems and accurately inputting and coding information onto the clinical system.
The postholder will also support the processing of medical record requests, patient online access, system searches, data extraction and general administrative duties, while ensuring patient information is handled accurately, securely and confidentially at all times.
As an apprentice, the postholder will be supported to gradually develop their knowledge and skills across the full IT Administrator role. Alongside their day-to-day duties, they will be required to complete a Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
Protected learning time will be provided as part of their working hours to support attendance at training, completion of apprenticeship learning and assessments, and their ongoing development within the role.

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and approachable Reception Lead Coordinator to join our team at Newgate Medical Group.
Working alongside our other Reception Lead Coordinators, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of reception services. You will provide leadership, guidance and support to reception colleagues, while helping to ensure our patients receive a professional, efficient and welcoming service.

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday in four. The role also requires two late finishes per week, until 6:30pm.
Main duties of the job
As a Reception Lead Coordinator, you will help coordinate the day-to-day reception service while providing support, guidance and supervision to members of the reception team.
Working alongside the other Reception Lead Coordinators, you will help organise staffing and rotas to ensure the reception service runs effectively.
