Main duties of the job
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Receptionist to join our busy GP Surgery team. The main duties include:
- Welcoming and assisting patients both in person and over the telephone
- Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments using clinical systems
- Managing patient enquiries with professionalism, empathy, and strict confidentiality
- Processing repeat prescriptions, test results, and medical documentation

Job summary
To assist the Practice Manager and Leadership team to oversee the reception/care navigation team as directed. Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
Main duties of the job
a. To oversee the operational running of the reception and team

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a part time housekeeper to work on Surgical Assessment Unit ward 18. The post will involve working 18.5 hours per week on a rolling rota to include 2 weekends per month.
Surgical Assessment unit is a bust department with a high turnover of patients, we admit emergency patients from Accident and Emergency and GP pathways. We have a great team who would welcome you with open arms and support you during the integration into our team.
This is an important role within the ward team and every day will provide variety of the rolealthough the team will remain the same. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post. Please note that if you are successful in your application you agree that the Occupational Health Department can access your occupational health records from your current or previous employer (in order to check the status of your inoculations and screening tests). This is an automated process and the information will only be used for these purposes prior to your taking up the position with us.
Main duties of the job
Experience of work as a housekeeper within the NHS ideal but not essential as full training will be given. Full details of main duties is available in the job description but this is an over view of the role:
Assisting patients with their nutrition and hydration needs,
Ensure unit and patient areas are clean and tidy,

Job summary
You will be required to work 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) on a rota basis between the hours of 7.45am and 6.30pm. The post is 20 hours per week. Job summary
This post is for a Locum Consultant General Radiologist. This is a 12 month post full-time post offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Doctor to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care in Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. The post will be based at Southport and Ormskirk site with option to work across other sites. There will be opportunity to develop subspecialty interest depending on the needs of the department.
Applicants will be required to have qualifications i.e MBBS/ MBCHB and FRCR(UK or equivalent.) They will be required to hold Membership of the Royal College of RCR (UK or equivalent qualifications), to be fully registered with the General Medical Council.
Main duties of the job
To maintain the expanding workload of the department including supporting the extensive department input into MDT meetings, to meet waiting list targets and to enable the introduction of extended working.
To contribute to the general workload and take part in the diagnostic general on call rota.
The department receives 3-5 Radiology SpRs from the Northwest School of Radiology Training Scheme. All consultants are involved in supervision and training of trainees both on site.
2 SPA is towards individual Core CPD for appraisal and revalidation, Audit and Clinical Governance, Mandatory training and departmental meetings and teaching and Clinical Supervision
The degree of subspecialty work to general is flexible depending on the individual's experience. The appointee would be expected to cover for colleagues around study and sick leave and a degree of flexibility within the job plan is expected
The consultant will be expected to participate in Audit as part of the annual appraisal process. Participation in research activities is actively encouraged and supported. The hospital has a defined programme of medical audit which has recently been restructured. Members of the Department of Radiology are active in the management and promotion of the Trust's clinical Governance Strategy.

Speciality Doctor in Emergency Medicine
For entry to the Speciality Doctor grade, applicants must have at least four years of post-registration training, of which at least two years must be in a speciality training programme in Emergency Medicine (for example, ACCS), or must be able to demonstrate comparable skills and competencies.
The job title of the post is Speciality Doctor in Emergency Medicine. The post is paid on the Speciality Doctor scale. Applicants wishing to work part-time would be considered.
Job Plans are worked around a twenty-four-person rota. The job is 10 PA, typically comprising 1.5 SPA and 8.5 DCC.
The post holder will be encouraged to advance their career in Emergency Medicine and will be supported in obtaining appropriate postgraduate qualifications and maintaining their continuing professional development.
Main duties of the job
The postholder is expected to work on the middle-grade tier rota in the department and provide the relevant expertise and experience necessary to ensure the efficient primary management of emergency cases. The postholder will be required to work with the other team members in the management of the department workload. The postholder will also be expected to provide supervision to the junior members of the team.
The postholder will be expected to undertake full clinical duties, including the immediate care of critically ill patients attending the Emergency Department and patients presenting with major and minor injuries. The main clinical duties of this post are in general paediatrics. The Consultant Paediatricians have recently reconfigured their working patterns to participate in a 1:8.5 Consultant of the week system which is split into 2 half weeks, working a block from Monday - Thursday, and a block Friday - Sunday. During the 'hot week' there are 2 Consultants of the week who are both ward based responsible for the ward, COAU, ED emergency calls, and inpatient safeguarding. All consultants also participate in cover on the COAU from 1pm - 10pm leading a team of registrars, junior doctors and Advanced Clinical Practitioners to manage ambulatory patients and review GP and ED referrals. This is covered on a 1:17 rota. Finally all consultants partake in non resident on call. Two consultants are non resident on call at weekends, with 1 consultant on-call overnight.Overall frequency on non resident on calls is1:17. All on-calls and COAU shifts are prospectively covered.

We are looking to appoint a Receptionist/Administrator to join our GP practice team.
