An enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician is required to work along side our established pharmacy team within General Practice. Our team currently consists of 1 Prescribing Clerk, 1 Pharmacy Technician and 2 Clinical Pharmacists.
You must have excellent communication and organisational skills, aLevel 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent is essential and registered with the General Pharmacy Council (GPhC).
Ideally you will have completed the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway course.
Main duties of the job
* Undertake repeat prescribing duties for Appliance and enhanced monitoring prescriptions.
*There may be queries with some requests, some may be acute. Training will be given to establish who to direct the query to.
* Adding medication from discharge letters and clinical letters to patients electronic record. Refer to the Practice Pharmacist when appropriate
* To provide first point of contact for patients requesting repeat medication
* Liaise with Community Pharmacists regarding vulnerable patients
* Undertake Medication Review Clinics
* Ordering of medications
* Undertake Medicines Management Prescribing scheme initiatives
* Assist in monthly PPA claims.
* Undertake an immunisation course to then participate in flu campaigns.
* Training will be given where needed.
About us
Our Practice is within a purpose-built Primary Care Centre in the heart of Nantwich with 20 clinical rooms and 1 operating suite on the ground floor from which with provide a minor surgery provision and an onsite Research Team.
Nantwich is a charming historical market town, set beside the river Weaver, with excellent transport links with Manchester only an hour away by train, the beautiful city of Chester is a 45-minute drive away and the North Wales coast just over an hour away. Nantwich also has a number of excellent primary schools and two very reputable senior schools.
We serve a population of circa 13,000 patients and our medical team comprises of 6 GP Partners, 2 salaried GPs, 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 3 Practice Nurses, and 1 Health Care Support Worker and 2 Physiotherapists. We are part of Nantwich and Rural PCN and currently have ARRS roles in Care Co-ordinator, Nurse Associate, 2 Pharmacy Technicians, 2 Pharmacists and a social prescriber.
We also have an onsite dedicated Research Team with 3 Nurses, Admin and three of our own GP Partners, with valuable research studies constantly ongoing there is always the opportunity to become involved in our research team.
Kiltearn is also a GP training practice for F1, F2, ST Doctors and medical students. We also have Partners with an interest in coach mentoring, career conversation facilitating and as appraisers, one of our GP Partners is also the Education Lead for the PCN.

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in clinical research to support the delivery of high-quality commercial and non-commercial research activity within a primary care setting. This is a management position with primary responsibility for the operational and financial delivery of commercial and non commercial research across two Primary Care settings.
You will:
1. Ensure the delivery and continued growth of a reputable and efficient research function, maintaining the highest standards in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and all regulatory requirements.
2. Responsible for the operational and financial management of the research function on a day to day basis, ensuring that the team delivers its roles and responsibilities for all elements of research governance, quality and assurance.
3. Provide expert research management and governance advice across the partnerships and external teams.

An enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician is required to work along side our established pharmacy team within General Practice. Our team currently consists of 1 Prescribing Clerk, 1 Pharmacy Technician and 2 Clinical Pharmacists.
You must have excellent communication and organisational skills, aLevel 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent is essential and registered with the General Pharmacy Council (GPhC).
Ideally you will have completed the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway course.
Main duties of the job
* Undertake repeat prescribing duties for Appliance and enhanced monitoring prescriptions.
*There may be queries with some requests, some may be acute. Training will be given to establish who to direct the query to.
* Adding medication from discharge letters and clinical letters to patients electronic record. Refer to the Practice Pharmacist when appropriate
* To provide first point of contact for patients requesting repeat medication

* Undertake Medicines Management Prescribing scheme initiatives
* Assist in monthly PPA claims.

About us
Our Practice is within a purpose-built Primary Care Centre in the heart of Nantwich with 20 clinical rooms and 1 operating suite on the ground floor from which with provide a minor surgery provision and an onsite Research Team.
Nantwich is a charming historical market town, set beside the river Weaver, with excellent transport links with Manchester only an hour away by train, the beautiful city of Chester is a 45-minute drive away and the North Wales coast just over an hour away. Nantwich also has a number of excellent primary schools and two very reputable senior schools.
We serve a population of circa 13,000 patients and our medical team comprises of 6 GP Partners, 2 salaried GPs, 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 3 Practice Nurses, and 1 Health Care Support Worker and 2 Physiotherapists. We are part of Nantwich and Rural PCN and currently have ARRS roles in Care Co-ordinator, Nurse Associate, 2 Pharmacy Technicians, 2 Pharmacists and a social prescriber.
We also have an onsite dedicated Research Team with 3 Nurses, Admin and three of our own GP Partners, with valuable research studies constantly ongoing there is always the opportunity to become involved in our research team.
Kiltearn is also a GP training practice for F1, F2, ST Doctors and medical students. We also have Partners with an interest in coach mentoring, career conversation facilitating and as appraisers, one of our GP Partners is also the Education Lead for the PCN.
