Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and autonomous Urgent Care Practitioner to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician from an ambulance, urgent care, emergency, community or primary care background who is confident in assessing and managing undifferentiated and acute presentations within their professional scope.
A key aspect of the role is providing same-day care through home visits, practice-based assessments and remote consultations. You will independently assess patients, formulate differential diagnoses, manage clinical risk, initiate treatment, request investigations and make appropriate referral or escalation decisions. An Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable.
You will work closely with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective care and help reduce unnecessary hospital admissions wherever appropriate.
Applicants must be a registered healthcare professional (HCPC, NMC or equivalent) with substantial post-registration experience and a proven ability to work autonomously in assessing and managing acute and urgent presentations. A full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake home visits are essential.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail oriented Finance Administrator to join our busy Finance Team on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with finance experience to contribute to the efficient completion of the practice's financial processes in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The role will work closely alongside our existing experienced finance team and the Head of Finance & Information in ensuring the thorough and accurate recording and reconciliation of the practice's finances.
Hours per week: 30 - 37.5

Monthly bank reconciliation using Xero Accounting software
Invoice production
Purchase ledger control
Accurate recording of VAT giving consideration to the complex nature of GP VAT rules
Support the Finance, Payroll and Pension Administrator with payroll calculations and payments
Petty cash management
Supporting our Data Quality Administrator with monthly drug invoice inspection and entry
Creation and reconciliation of bank payment batches using Lloyds Commercial Banking
Credit card reconciliation
Practice procurement
Liaise with practice accountants
Maintain various finance reconciliation spreadsheets
Highlight missing or inaccurate financial claims
Support the Head of Finance with Enhanced Services searches and claims
Income monitoring including reconciling monthly GMS statements and NHS income

Job summary
We are looking for Salaried GPs to join our established and supportive primary care team at Holderness Health. This is a flexible opportunity with sessions - up to 8 per week - negotiable, including a regular Enhanced Access session one day per week, offering additional flexibility for clinicians interested in extended hours working.

Main duties of the job
You will deliver high quality, patient centred GP services including face to face and telephone consultations, home visits, Duty Doctor cover and weekly participation in Enhanced Access services. You will manage acute, chronic, complex and undifferentiated conditions and develop care plans with patients.
You will prescribe safely in line with guidance, keep accurate clinical records, and contribute to QOF and quality improvement activity. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, First Contact Physiotherapists, Proactive Care Team including Social Prescribers and Mental Health Worker, you will be committed to delivering excellent patient care and positive patient outcomes, with a focus on supporting continuity of care for our most complex patients.
We are looking for a fully qualified GP with GMC registration, on the NHS Medical Performers List or nearing completion of training. As one of our General Practice Assistants, you will be responsible for supporting the practice in delivering excellent patient care by effectively providing direct administrative support to our GPs.
We are currently seeking to recruit an additional General Practice Assistant to join the Patient Services Team. Working alongside our existing General Practice Assistants, supporting all our GPs with the administrative aspects and duties of their roles as, where and when they require it.

Main duties of the job

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in health or social care setting and a deep understanding of patient care needs; however, we are also interested in hearing from people from a wide range of backgrounds who can demonstrate sound administrative skills and experience of delivering high quality customer or patient care.
Contact with patients is predominately via telephone, therefore you must possess an excellent telephone manner.

Obtain history and basic readings for patients at the request of the GP.
Explain treatment procedures to patients.
Manage effective communications with patients on behalf of assigned GPs (text messaging, calling etc.).
Support the development and implementation of projects and initiatives aimed at improving care for patients.
Identify and address safeguarding concerns.
Identify carers of patients to ensure that they are coded and directed internally or externally for appropriate support.
Team Working
Provide support to other teams within the practice to ensure that quality patient care is always prioritised.
Reporting
Maintain effective records of activity and produce reports as required.
