The clinical lead for the Department reports to the Head of Occupational Health and is accountable to the Chief Medical Officer. Based in Whinacre House, the Staff Health & Wellbeing Centre delivers accredited SEQOHS services to improve staff health, reduce stress, and promote wellbeing for Trust employees and external clients.
Candidates must have Membership/Fellowship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, a CCST/CCT/EEA equivalent in Occupational Medicine, or be eligible for GMC Specialist Register admission within six months of interview. Part of the People and Culture Division, the Occupational Health Department provides comprehensive services to Trust staff and external organisations, generating income for the department. The department has experience training Specialty Trainees and plans to offer further training opportunities.

Main duties of the job
Maintain an understanding of current professional and national developments applicable to Occupational Health.
In conjunction with the Head of Workforce Health & Wellbeing represent the Occupational Health Service at relevant committee meetings to ensure that the development and improvement of service delivery programmes and protocols includes specialist occupational health advice.

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a part time housekeeper to work on Surgical Assessment Unit ward 18. The post will involve working 18.5 hours per week on a rolling rota to include 2 weekends per month.
Surgical Assessment unit is a bust department with a high turnover of patients, we admit emergency patients from Accident and Emergency and GP pathways. We have a great team who would welcome you with open arms and support you during the integration into our team.
This is an important role within the ward team and every day will provide variety of the rolealthough the team will remain the same. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post. Main duties of the job
Experience of work as a housekeeper within the NHS ideal but not essential as full training will be given. Full details of main duties is available in the job description but this is an over view of the role:
Assisting patients with their nutrition and hydration needs,
Ensure unit and patient areas are clean and tidy,
Be a pivotal part in ensuring that the cleaning duties required weekly and monthly are completed to a high standard and documented
Management of stock,
Communicating with staff, patients and relatives both verbally and on the telephone, including welcoming to the unit environment.

The post holder will work as an integral part of the team ensuring a high quality service to patients. They will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities in the ward area and ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
