You will work closely with GPs, the dispensary team and reception to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately, queries are managed effectively, and patients receive a high standard of care.
We are a well-established GP practice with a strong team ethos, where staff are valued and supported day-to-day. We recognise the importance of a well-run dispensary and aim to provide a working environment where you feel confident, supported and able to do your role effectively.

This role would suit a qualified dispenser who enjoys being part of a team, is organised and proactive, and values delivering a reliable service to patients.
If you are looking to join a welcoming practice where your contribution is recognised and you can develop your skills within primary care, we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our dispensary, ensuring prescriptions are processed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Working closely with clinicians and the wider practice team, you will help manage queries, prioritise workload and support a smooth and timely service for patients.

You will also provide a professional and approachable service to patients, handling queries with care and attention.
This is a busy and varied role where attention to detail, organisation and reliability are essential. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing positively to the dispensary and wider practice. Experience of working in a dispensary setting and the ability to manage workload effectively will be important in this role.

Our team works closely across clinical and non-clinical areas, with a strong emphasis on communication, consistency and mutual support.
We are continuously reviewing and improving how we work as a practice, with a focus on making systems and processes effective for both patients and staff. This means you will be joining a team that is forward-thinking, open to change, and committed to creating a manageable and well-run working environment.
We offer a friendly and stable workplace, opportunities for development, and the chance to be part of a team where your contribution is recognised and you can feel confident in your role.
