What You'll Be Doing as Practice Business Manager
As our Practice Business Manager, youll play a key leadership role in the day-to-day running and future development of the practice. Primrose Bank Medical Centre is a long-standing, friendly GP practice with two sitesone in the heart of Blackburn town centre and another near Ewood Medical Centre. We care for a diverse patient population of nearly 9,500 and are proud of our strong reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
We have three dedicated GP Partners and a fantastic team of ARRS roles, including pharmacists, physician associates, an ACP, and a mental health practitioner. Our nursing team includes two part-time practice nurses and a full-time healthcare assistant, all supported by a hardworking and welcoming admin team.

Job SummaryPrimrose Bank Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Business Manager to lead the operational and strategic management of the practice across two sites. Youll be joining a supportive and established team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care to a diverse population of nearly 9,500 patients.
As a member of North PCN, which includes five practices working collaboratively across Blackburn, you will be involved in shaping services and contributing to wider network goals.
This is a key leadership role requiring someone with solid general practice experience, ideally having led a CQC inspection and comfortable working within NHS and regulatory frameworks. You'll ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly while supporting long-term planning, staff development, compliance, and service improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategic Management-
Work closely with the Partners to develop and implement strategic and business plans.

Contribute to the wider development of North PCN, representing the practice at PCN and locality meetings.

Job SummaryPrimrose Bank Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Business Manager to lead the operational and strategic management of the practice across two sites. Youll be joining a supportive and established team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care to a diverse population of nearly 9,500 patients.
As a member of North PCN, which includes five practices working collaboratively across Blackburn, you will be involved in shaping services and contributing to wider network goals.
This is a key leadership role requiring someone with solid general practice experience, ideally having led a CQC inspection and comfortable working within NHS and regulatory frameworks. You'll ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly while supporting long-term planning, staff development, compliance, and service improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategic Management-
Work closely with the Partners to develop and implement strategic and business plans.

Job summary
We are looking to recruit a receptionist to join our small friendly team here at West Oak Surgery for 20.15 hours per week. These will be set shifts on various days over a 4 day period (Tues-Fri) as follows:
Tuesday 7.15am-12.30pm
Wednesday 7.15am -1.30pm
Thursday 7.45am-12.30pm
Friday 2.30pm-6.30pm
We may consider exchanging one of the Wednesday or Thursday morning shifts for a Thursday afternoon shift but this will be discussed at interview. The Tuesday and Friday shifts are not negotiable so please bear this in mind when applying.
Experience is desirable, but training can be provided for the right applicant.
We are happy to undertake informal visits to discuss the role with potential candidates who would like further information before applying.
Please note that various cover for colleagues will need to be undertaken at times, and therefore you must be able and willing to commit to changing rota patterns.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include front of house duties such as booking patients in and dealing with enquiries from patients online, over the phone or in person, as well as dealing with enquires and requests from our clinical team. Duties will also include initial prescription processing and other processes which form part of our busy GP surgery.
Mandatory training is also required annually and applicants must be prepared to undertake this as part of the role.
The role is demanding, but rewarding, and excellent support is given by our existing friendly team.

Job summary
We are looking for a confident individual that can join our supportive and forward-thinking practice. The job role involves working on our busy reception and working on our busy phone lines.
The job role is very patient focused where projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors is at the heart of the practice. We expect a high level of care and pride to be shown in our chosen candidates work ethic.
The receptionist patient advisor will be the first point of contact for patients either attending the practice or phoning the surgery. Job summary
BPAS are looking for a Surgeon to perform terminations of pregnancy in our Doncaster Clinic. This role would be every Wednesday.
As a treatment doctor/surgeon you will provide safe, effective and comprehensive surgical and medical terminations of pregnancy to BPAS clients.
This role is working at BPAS Doncaster with the option to provide services in other areas nationally if you are able. We welcome candidates who currently operate between 13+6 and 24 weeks, along with those who are keen to train and progress towards working safely and competently at higher gestations within the legal limit.
BPAS is an independent healthcare charity which has been advocating and caring for women and couples who decide to end a pregnancy for more than 50 years. We are the leading specialists of abortion advice and treatment in the UK, taking care of almost 80,000 women each year in over 50 clinics nationwide. Nearly all the women we see have their care paid for by the NHS.
About You
With a Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent and full General Medical Council registration plus a license to practice, you will be passionate and committed to reproductive healthcare. You will ensure that all BPAS clients are treated in a professional and caring way and have unwavering support for a woman's right to choose abortion.
A good communicator you enjoy building strong working relationships across the business and enjoy maintaining such relationships as well.
Main duties of the job
- Carry out termination of pregnancy by the appropriate method to evacuate the products of conception and ensure complete abortion and in accordance with BPAS clinical policies and procedures
- Complete client consultation if needed and complete the statutory documentation
- Assess and provide advice on the management of clients with medical or other conditions which may affect the abortion process.
- Be present in the operating theatre throughout each procedure and remain on site until all clients have been assessed fit for discharge from recovery or passed to the care of another on-site doctor

The Occupational Therapist will be supporting vocational rehab, fatigue - brain fog management, breathlessness management, MDT case reviews and undertaking triage, Clinics will be based in Ealing and Hillingdon along with some telephone appointments including use of digital app and triage.
The service is now renamed as Post Infection Conditions Service formerly known as Post Covid rehabilitation service. The service works closely with ICB and with other boroughs across North West London, supporting triage and participating in regular NWL borough based IST. Clinical support is available from Senior Occupational therapist and also from service lead. There is access to local and borough wide training and shadowing of medical clinics as part of CPD.
Main duties of the job
To provide a highly skilled occupational therapy assessment, education, advice and treatment to adult patients referred to post covid rehabilitation and support pulmonary rehabilitation and other community services if required and work to the standards set by BAOT and HCPC.
To Triage / screen and assess referrals at the Single point of access, including gathering medical history from GP records/referrer and identifying if appropriate or not; establish priorities and assign to appropriate pathways.
To participate in weekly Multidisciplinary team meetings with other colleagues for complex case reviews.
To undertake patient management/treatment in a variety of settings utilising a range of methods to do this e.g. individually or group therapy/rehabilitation interventions, face to face, virtual and app-based technology .
To provide assessment and treatment of Post covid patients and chronic respiratory conditions that are referred to the service for fatigue, Cognitive issues, breathlessness vocational rehab support.
Participate and lead in audits and service development.
Maintain accurate documentation on electronic patient records including discharge letters, clinic updates letters and clinic notes.

We have an exciting opportunity to cover the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist for Acute Stroke Unit/Neuro Outliers team at North Middlesex Hospital. This post is for a 9month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave.
This opportunity would be suitable for any Specialist Neuro Band 7 Physiotherapists or existing Band 8a Neuro therapists interested in the role.
The North Middlesex Hospital is part of the wider group Royal Free London and has an Acute Stroke Unit (ASU). The team also cover Stroke and Neuro outliers across the hospital.
The successful post holder would work together with the Clinical Lead ASU/Neuro OT in managing the ASU and Stroke team, by providing both clinical specialist input and operational input into the running of the team. As an 8a, the post holder would also be expected to deputise for the Head of Physiotherapy when necessary.
Main duties of the job
To manage the Multi-professional therapy and Physiotherapy input to the Acute Stroke Unit Service, Neuro-Outlier service, NMUH and alongside the NMUH Physiotherapy Manager for inpatients engage in planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the service, participating in the design and implementation of physiotherapy and multidisciplinary research, audit and policy.
You will perform the role of Clinical Lead for Neurorehabilitation Trust wide and within the ASU. Your specialist patient population will be Medical Brian Injury (MBI) and neuro-outliers .
To perform expert physiotherapy assessment and design management programmes for patients presenting with highly complex acute and chronic neurological and neuromuscular disease, performing the role to the highest degree of autonomy.
To provide specialist support and advice to physiotherapy colleagues across the NCL sector regarding neuro-rehabilitative management as well as influencing national theory and practice through your involvement in research and other postgraduate work.
To initiate specialist practice, for example, outpatient clinics / spasticity management clinics, or work normally performed by medical personnel once appropriate protocols or training has been agreed.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join Health Alliance Primary Care Network, a friendly and supportive PCN made up of six GP practices, caring for a patient population of over 58,000 patients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist who is either already an Independent Prescriber or is keen to develop towards becoming one.
