Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated part time Practice Nurse with good interpersonal and communication skills to join our busy and friendly team for 23 hours per week. We are a SystmOne teaching Practice based near the City Centre, we have a patient population of around 14,000, and our last CQC rating was Good.
This is a permanent position and your working days must include Thursday and Friday. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Main duties of the job
Previous Practice Nurse experience is required and key duties will include:
Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs
Asthma management
Chronic disease management
Cytology
Wound care
Travel Clinic
Peak Flow Readings/Spirometry
Ear syringing
Routine immunisations/Childhood immunisations
Contraception checks
Following agreed clinical protocols with referral to senior nurse or GP as appropriate
About us
Complementing our existing clinical team of 10 Doctors, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs and 2 Phlebotomists, you will work closely with clinical and administrative colleagues alike.
