To provide high-quality, patient-centred primary medical care to the registered practice population, delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based services while working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.

• Provide comprehensive medical services to patients presenting with undifferentiated and diagnosed conditions.
• Undertake same-day and routine consultations, both face-to-face and remotely.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe, and refer patients as appropriate.
• Conduct home visits when required.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in line with national and local guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
• Participate in safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable adults.
• Promote health education and disease prevention.

• Prescribe medicines in accordance with GMC guidance, NICE guidelines, and local prescribing policies.
• Undertake regular medication reviews.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise medicines management.

• Process laboratory results, hospital correspondence, and clinical documents.
• Complete referrals, reports, insurance forms, and other medical documentation within agreed timescales.
• Participate in reviewing and updating clinical protocols where required.

• Contribute to Quality Improvement activities and clinical audits.
• Participate in significant event reviews and learning activities.
• Support the achievement of QOF and other contractual requirements.
• Maintain awareness of current clinical guidance and best practice.

• Work collaboratively with practice nurses, pharmacists, healthcare assistants, physician associates, and administrative staff.
• Attend clinical meetings, practice meetings, and educational events.
• Contribute positively to the development of practice services.

• Maintain GMC registration and licence to practise.
• Participate in annual appraisal and revalidation requirements.
• Undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as required.

• Fully qualified General Practitioner.
• GMC Registration with Licence to Practise.
• Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
• MRCGP or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to high standards of patient care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience of NHS General Practice.
• Interest in a specialist area such as diabetes, women's health, minor surgery, care of the elderly, mental health, or education/training.
• Experience of clinical audit and quality improvement.

• Flexible sessions available.
• Participation in practice meetings and training sessions.
• No out-of-hours commitment unless otherwise agreed.
