Job summary

In this role, youll be trusted to support the safe movement and management of IT equipment, ensuring colleagues have the technology they need to deliver effective services.Youll be part of the IT Operations team, helping to keep devices and equipment organised, tracked and available across a range of sites. Working closely with the ICT Logistics, Asset and Procurement Lead, youll support both day-to-day services and IT projects, making sure equipment is delivered, collected and stored efficiently.

Main duties of the job

What youll do:

• Deliver, collect and relocate IT equipment and peripherals between sites using company vehicles
• Support stock control, asset tracking and the safe storage of IT devices
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and collections in line with agreed processes
• Carry out site-based logistics tasks, often working independently and travelling between locations
• Provide flexible support to other IT teams when additional cover is needed

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence working independently and managing your time effectively
• A commitment to following procedures and working safely when travelling and handling equipment
• Strong communication skills and a helpful, customer-focused approach
• You might have experience in logistics, stock control, asset management or IT support, but we also welcome applicants with transferable skills and a willingness to learn
